Beneath the barn are the original shippons where the animals once
lived in winter. The gnarled beams and slate dividers (called boskins)
are still in place, but now they are filled with the work of local
potters and artists, along with glass, wrought iron, baskets and
rugs.

A feast for the soul!

Upstairs on the way to the tea room the gallery tempts you
with everything from birthday cards and handmade paper to
toys and natural skincare. There is a surprising range of
knitwear and clothing made from wool, linen, silk and cotton
in soft, easy tones -- comfortable to wear and enjoyable
to put together. |
