Hand picked ranges of irresistible homewares, crafts, gifts and toys; all displayed in the barn's shippon and galleries.
Shop leading European and UK clothing ranges including Masai and Seasalt, plus ethical clothing and artisan-made accessories.
There are three floors to the 17th century barn that make up our farm shop, craft, gift, and clothing galleries. It’s a treasure trove of goodies for everyone to enjoy. From home-grown vegetables for the pan and ice cream for the kids, to an original ceramic piece from a local artist, Low Sizergh Barn really does offer the best of farm shopping.
Green Door artist Mike Barlow is the latest local artist to exhibit here in the Low Sizergh Barn tea room.
His paintings and constructions will be on show until the 5th of July, they combine two elements of his earlier work – constructions from found wood and abstract/symbolic painting.
The found material often comes from beaches around Morecambe Bay and the west coast of Scotland as well as the clutter of Mike's studio. Mike says: "my tendency is to avoid the figurative and explicit, following my nose until an image or effect suggest itself. Colour, balance, design and the intrinsic qualities of found materials are my main pre-occupations, with titles often added afterwards."
