Our flock of 700 laying hens produce hundreds of eggs each day, which we sell in the farm shop. The hens are free to roam during the day and can often be found dust-bathing and pecking for worms down the lane and in the car park.
They go into their cabins to sleep at night, are greeted with breakfast at 7am, and lay their eggs in the afternoon. The eggs are collected and sorted every day so that they're as fresh as can be.
