low sizergh barn café menu

Café

We hope you will enjoy the wholesome food made from scratch in our kitchen daily using good ingredients from our farm and from local suppliers. Beef and lamb from our farm, honey from our orchard hives, local farm eggs, sourdough bread made by hand, good cheese, gelato made on an organic farm in north Cumbria and, in late Spring and summer, organic salad leaves grown on the farm by Growing Well . Fruit from our orchards and is frozen in the early autumn. There might be a crumble for pud!

You’re very welcome to enjoy a hearty breakfast, sip leaf tea that’s specially blended for us, lunch on favourites made every day in the kitchen, or tuck into our delicious homemade cakes.

Choice menu items are also found on the shelves of the farm shop. You’ll find a list of some of our favourite suppliers at the bottom of this page.

Afternoon milking is around 3.30pm; watch the cows from the café windows while enjoying a glass of their milk — how cool is that?

Please speak to a staff member if you have a food allergy or intolerance. Dogs are welcome at our outdoor tables but are not allowed in the café.
