Clothing gallery

While lots of customers pick up fresh bread, free-range eggs or the best local produce, many of our regulars come especially to browse our range of clothing. With sought after favourites alongside local designers, anyone who thinks that farm shops and fashion don’t mix is in for a pleasant surprise.

Ethical and fairtrade clothing the clothing brands you’ll find in our gallery trade fairly and produce ethically using natural or organic fabrics.

The selection changes with the seasons and ranges from accessories to wardrobe essentials or one-off pieces.

Winter woollies our new stock of northern woolly jumpers is knitted and felted in the metropolis of Dent and surrounding valleys.

We also have a colourful array of jumpers knitted further south – a lot further south – through certified fairtrade production in South America.

Either way, the warmth, practicality and all-round goodness of wool makes cooler days very cosy indeed.

Nomads organic cardigans, printed vests, shirts and trousers are sure to become wardrobe staples.

Now in their third decade, Nomads are on a mission to prove that it is more than possible to live a stylish, sustainable life.

Their contemporary clothing is made with eco-friendly, ethical practices and celebrates natural fibres and traditional artisan techniques.

Seasalt’s clothing is well designed and well made everyday wear.

A coated organic cotton developed by Seasalt called Tincloth is used in this Seafolly mac. Being waterproof and breathable it’s just the job for rainy days.
