Customers in the shop have mentioned seeing the farm on TV last week. Great British Menu was for top UK chefs who competed to cook for a banquet attended by Prince Charles at the Assembly Rooms in Bath. The National Trust provided the challenge – cook with local ingredients sourced from near their properties. We supplied milk and cream, and Growing Well provided vegetables. Lisa Allen from Northcote used produce from the farm for her winning starter: wild rabbit and leek turnover with piccalilli. Beren from Growing Well was convinced he could taste their chives in the dish when he ate at the banquet with Richard from the farm.
